Helping people rise
to big challenges,
one small shift at a time.

COMING SOON

Hi, I’m Lisa, and I’m glad you’re here.

I’m an author, award-winning journalist, and speaker. I’ve spent decades studying how people rise to extraordinary challenges. Here’s what I discovered:

Small shifts make the difference.

People who successfully meet big challenges develop small, helpful ways to view them, relate to the feelings they trigger, and respond appropriately. And their strategies can help you, whether you’re a mission-driven leader advancing important goals or a parent talking to children about issues like climate change.

I’m excited to share these insights to help you worry less, grow more, and have a greater impact—at work, at home, and in your community.

    The Big Intentions Workshop

What is the big thing you are trying to achieve and why? How does the sense of purpose each person brings to work align with your organization’s mission? This workshop explores the critical small shifts in perspective that can help you close the gap between the status quo and success. It’s about making mountains into molehills.

    The Obstacle-Transformation Workshop

What stands in the way of your success? What conversations or actions are you avoiding—and why? Big challenges tend to trigger feelings, beliefs, and stories about ourselves and others that may not be true. This means when people come together, there is often an elephant in the room. This workshop gently surfaces unspoken obstacles and introduces key small shifts that can help you and your team be more truthful, empowered, and aligned.

    The Good Influencer’s Workshop

Rising to today’s big challenges is not a solo sport. We need to bring others along—including teams, families, schools, communities, or others outside our immediate spheres of influence. But when the issue is a big one, we often feel like we’re talking to a brick wall, or a fierce opponent. This workshop explores the small shifts that can help you lead more constructive conversations and inspire more helpful action.
